A leaked trailer for the seemingly direct sequel to Rayman Origins, titled Rayman Legends, shows the Wii U’s graphics and exclusive features.
In the trailer, one player has the Wii U controller and the rest have Wii Remotes. We can see the Wii U tablet’s touchscreen being used to stylishly move characters on the screen.
We also have the first example of the NFC technology (Near field communication) being used in Nintendo’s new console. By simply placing a figure on the tablet, the NFC tech scans it into the game.
The trailer hints that Ezio from Assassin’s Creed will make an appearance in this way.
Finally, from what we’ve seen from the trailer, the Wii U is at least equal to current-gen consoles in terms of graphics fidelity.
